The financing of the LEDs followed after the installation of solar panels for two schools and three solar-powered wells had already been completed – work on a fourth well is currently underway.

Solar LEDs for displaced persons
Solardarity continues to make a difference!
Thanks to your donations, we were able to implement the next concrete project in Rojava.
In the two major cities of Qamishli and al-Hasaka, the “Kurdish Red Crescent” – our local partner in North and East Syria – supplied internally displaced persons with modular solar LEDs. In Qamishli, 1,000 such solar lights are now in use, and in al-Hasaka a total of 700, providing at least a little electricity for those who currently need it most.
